The Library isn’t just somewhere you can get books. It’s somewhere you can do your work on your own or with others, escape sensory overload and get some help with studying. This section of the toolkit will introduce our library and the services it can offer you.
Background
The library works closely with the Disability and Mental Health Service to deliver bespoke support. This includes:
- longer book loans
- book fetching
- accessible textbooks
- access to assistive technology PCs
To arrange this support, please make an appointment with the Disability and Mental Health Service. We will discuss the difficulties you are experiencing with your studies and work with yourself and the Library to arrange any recommended support.
How could this affect me?
